Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of service‑based projects. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of customer service work from estimating through job completion to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Additionally, the Service Project Manager will need the ability to manage multiple fast‑paced service projects while maintaining strong customer relationships, financial performance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high volume service workload, supporting projects averaging 1–14 days
  • Plan, monitor, and maintain project profitability in alignment with company goals
  • Participate in all phases of the bid process, from estimating to final submission
  • Manage service jobs from assignment to close out, including:
  • Scheduling technicians
  • Verifying scope of work
  • Confirming parts and truck stock
  • Coordinating customer access
  • Oversee customer delivery and job installation, including same day, next day, and emergency service calls
  • Handle customer escalations, urgent issues, and after hours service events
  • Review job cost postings for accuracy, prepare invoices, manage collections, and provide financial reporting
  • Serve as the primary liaison between ESC and customer representatives
  • Diagnose scope of work and define timelines in collaboration with customers
  • Ensure materials, parts, and site access are coordinated for on time completion
  • Adapt and re prioritize as job scopes and customer needs change
  • Learn and manage various installation types, including datacenters, renovations, and new builds

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with trade tools, including:
  • Punch tools (110 and 66 block)
  • 6/8‑position combo crimp tools
  • Krone / 3M / BIX tools
  • Butt set
  • Volt‑ohmmeter
  • 4‑pair continuity tester
  • 5‑gang punch tool
  • 24‑pair dressing tool

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in telecommunications, construction, or a related technical field
  • 5 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a customer liaison
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self‑motivated, professional, and positive with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
